Moena
Moena is the village at the entrance of Val di Fassa, in Trentino: a place of Ladin tradition surrounded by some of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ladin is still spoken here, festivals are celebrated in traditional costume and the village gives its name to Puzzone di Moena, a cheese with a bold aroma and a surprisingly mild taste. And every winter the Marcialonga, the great classic of cross-country skiing, starts from Moena.
